The arresting sound of 60Minutes Of Your Love was an instant hit for Soul fans in the 1960s so much so that it was issued three times; the above Minit issue was the second, having first been released in the UK on Liberty with a different B side. After leaving the Army in 1964 Homer Banks cut his first solo record for the Genie label the following year; his first for Minit was A Lot Of Love in 1966. Homer Banks died in 2003 aged 62 and it would seem that he only had seven solo singles released in his lifetime and no albums.
