The Fiestas on this magnificent double sider were Tommy Bullock, Eddie Morris, Sam Ingalls and Preston Lane, both sides were arranged and produced by Gene Redd whos talents deserved to be more well known.

Gene Clarence Redd, band leader, vibraphone and trumpet player, song writer, aranger and producer, joind  Earl Bostic's band in 1950 (he can be heard on Flamingo) and later became A&R man at King Records. His musical writing credits are on such diverse cuts as Please Come Home For Christmas and Kool And The Gang's Funky Stuff along with the above Broken Heat.
