SO LONG GOODBYE * GEORGE TORRENCE & THE NATURALS * LONDON AMERICAN 10181 * UK

The B side of Lickin' Stick, a dance number which was something of an underground  hit in London and the South during the late 1960s (and was reissued on Jay Boy in 1971- yet, surprisingly, was the only release by the group in the UK) though its British success doesn't seem to be the case in the US, where this was released on the Shout label, as it was the only issue by them on that imprint; George Torrence did have other releases on Galliant, King and Duo Disc. So Long Goodbye is a off beat song which reminds me of something that I can't put my finger on, I think the oddness comes from the way the lyrics are sung, and what the lyrics are saying.
