J'AI DEUX AMOURS * MISS JOSÉPHINE BAKER * COLUMBIA 229 * F

Josephine Baker (1906-1975) was born in St. Louis but moved to Paris, France in the 1920s and wooed the nation with her art and beauty, eventually receiving (for her work as a spy) the Legion d' Honneur. Although Josephine Baker's work is not too well known in Britain she has been, like Judy Garland, adopted by the Bi and Gay record buying communities.
