Originally released on George Khoury's 'Bayou Hits Kahoury's' label # 703, and leased to Judd for extra distribution, the record made it to number 47 on the Billboard pop charts, while astonishingly not getting into the R&B 100. The song owed some of its pop success at the time by being co-opted into the latest dance craze of the Stroll.
