LITTLE DID YOU KNOW * THE TECHNIQUES * ISLAND 231 * UK
A vocal cut on the flip of Cool Smoke, it was common for records to be issued with one side instrumental and the other side a vocal, though unlike the later 'version' where the instrumental would be the same cut as the vocal sans voice, the older method would offer a completely different cut. Just like it was common in the 1950s for a record to be issued with a slow side and an up tempo side. The techniques are certainly up tempo on this top Treasure Isle outing; with some great vocal acrobatics supported by a pounding Ska rhythm.
