STIR IT UP * BOB MARLEY AND THE WAILERS * WAIL 'N' SOUL M * JA

The Wailers were a favorite with Skins around this time their lyrics were often hard and up to date, although on occasions even they cut some slack! The above really belongs to that category - of which there are numerous others the Skinhead's were fond of Wet Dream for example.

Produced by them and issued on their own Wail 'N' Soul' M label (The name is an amalgam of WAILers aNd SOULettes Music) Stir It Up is a Rock Steady version of a song that was to surface later in the Reggae period, by which time it seemed to have acquired a more militant edge.
