The Wailers were a favorite with Skins around this time their lyrics were often hard and up to date, although on occasions even they cut some slack! The above really belongs to that category - of which there are numerous others, Wet Dream for example, the Skinhead's were fond of. Stir It Up is a Rock Steady version - produced by them and issued on their own label - of a song that was to surface later in the Reggae period, by which time it seemed to have acquired a more militant edge.
