LIKE SISTER AND BROTHER * THE DRIFTERS * BELL 1786 * USA

Led by Johnny Moore, Like Sister And Brother was the third release on the Bell label by The Drifters; a strong ballad that marked a return to the emotionally charged group sound that they hadn't had since their 1966 recording of Up In The Streets Of Harlem.
I'm sure it came as something of a surprise for many Drifters fans when they saw their records being released on Bell and not Atlantic the label that they had been with from 1953 to 1971, some eighteen years!.
