Another beautiful recording by Dee Dee Sharp, this one is in the style of her I Really Love You from the previous year. My Best Friend's Man was her first Atco release and was part written by her future husband Kenny Gamble. Only three more singles and one duet with Ben E. King were released on Atco by her before she married Kenny Gamble and signed to his Gamble label in 1968.
